About the role

We are seeking a System Engineer to join RiDiK, a subsidiary of CLPS (Nasdaq: CLPS), in our Singapore River Central Region office. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure and systems within our organisation. As a System Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT systems and network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across our operations. What you'll be doing

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level systems and network infrastructure to support business operations

Monitor system performance, capacity, and security to ensure optimal uptime and reliability

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions across multiple systems and platforms

Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimisation

Implement and maintain system security protocols, patches, and updates to protect against vulnerabilities

Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions

Document system configurations, procedures, and processes to maintain comprehensive technical records

Provide technical support to end-users and assist with system migrations and upgrades

Maintain detailed records of system changes and maintain version control for all configurations

What we're looking for

3+ years of professional experience in systems administration or network infrastructure management

Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based platforms

Demonstrated expertise in network configuration, TCP/IP protocols, and network security

Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar solutions

Proficiency in system monitoring and management tools and software

Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Associate, or Cisco certifications are highly desirable

Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools is advantageous
