Job summary

Magna Electronics, Inc in the Philippines seeks a SW Test expert to lead a team and drive qualification and integration testing for automotive software.

You will work with Embedded C/C++, CAPL, Python, and AUTOSAR concepts, using vTestStudio, CANoe and related tools to ensure robust software. Join a global leader shaping safer, cleaner mobility in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in SW Qualification tests SWE.6 and SW Integration tests SWE.5.
• Automotive domain knowledge with AUTOSAR, MISRA and Functional safety.
• Hands-on experience with embedded C/C++ development and test automation.
• Familiarity with standards, reviews and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead SW test activities in SWE.6 and SWE.5 processes and tools.
• Generate and review software test cases from detailed design and architecture (SRS).
• Ensure AUTOSAR, MISRA and functional safety requirements are met.
• Apply CAPL, Python and XML/ARXML for automation and testing.
• Work with test equipment and debugging tools to diagnose failures.

Job Responsibilities

• SW Test expert in SW engineering process, tools and setup development to lead a team
• Experience in SW Qualification test (SWE.6) & SW Integration test (SWE.5)
• ADAS product/test experience desired, automotive electronics must
• Knowledge of Embedded C, C++
• Hands on experience of vTestStudio, CANoe, VT System, CAN stress tools etc
• Strong knowledge of CAPL, Python, VB, XML/ARXML preferred
• Hands on experience in understanding of detailed design, Architecture and SRS and reviews
• Strong knowledge of generating Software test cases from detailed design, Architecture and SRS
• Automotive domain with knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, Functional safety, MISRA
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR software structure such as BSW, APPLICATION, RTE
• Strong knowledge of CAN, UDS diagnostics, bootloader, cyber security and Ethernet protocols
• Knowledge of Compilers (GCC, Tasking), debuggers (I System, Lauterbach), Build process
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems Concepts
• Software development lifecycle knowledge'
