Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled Greenhouse Gas Verifier to conduct emissions verification for diverse clients.

You will analyze data, perform site visits, and prepare detailed reports in line with ISO 14064 and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The ideal candidate holds a degree in environmental science or sustainability (a master’s degree is preferred), understands GHG accounting, and can work independently while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field is required.
• Experience in greenhouse gas verifications or related environmental auditing is required.
• Familiarity with ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol.
• Experience with data management systems and emission calculation tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct greenhouse gas emissions verification assessments for organizations to ensure compliance with ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol.
• Analyze data and client-provided information to assess accuracy and reliability of inventories and reports.
• Perform on-site client facility visits to verify data accuracy and measurement methods.
• Utilize statistical tools to identify data inconsistencies and improve data quality.
• Prepare comprehensive verification reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Stay updated on developments in GHG accounting methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on best practices for GHG management and reduction strategies.
• Participate in external audits of verification processes and procedures.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our organization as a Greenhouse Gas Verifier. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions verification assessments to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations. You will work closely with clients, analyzing data, performing site visits, and preparing accurate and reliable reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sciences, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of greenhouse gas accounting methodologies.

• Conduct greenhouse gas emissions verification assessments for various organizations to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations, such as ISO 14064 and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting methodologies, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064.
• Experience in conducting greenhouse gas emissions verifications or related environmental auditing.
• Familiarity with emission calculation tools, statistical analysis software, and data management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate complex data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable results.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of sustainability principles and the broader environmental and climate change context.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Carbon Auditor or Certified Greenhouse Gas Verifier are desirable.
