OceanaGold Corporation’s Didipio mine in the Philippines seeks a Superintendent – Surface Operations to lead surface production activities, including ore handling, mobile crushing, and stockpile management. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
• 10+ years in mining or bulk earthworks with leadership.
• Experience managing contractor-operated mining or earthmoving.
• Strong knowledge of surface mining operations and cost control.
• Professional Engineering registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead surface operations, including ore rehandling and haul-road activities.
• Oversee contractor performance, safety compliance, equipment availability, and productivity.
• Manage surface mine engineering activities and productivity improvements.
• Drive operational planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
• Provide leadership to engineering, planning, scheduling, and cost teams.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability and high performance.
