Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in the Philippines seeks an Experienced SUPV Manufacturing Engineering to oversee a team focused on productivity, automation assembly, tooling design, and ISO documentation.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in automation and tooling, strong CAD skills (Pro/E/Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and a proven track record in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and training technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in automation assembly and tooling design & development.
• CAD knowledge with Pro/E/Creo, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with DFM, tooling RFQ, and ISO/Lean practices.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise manufacturing engineering activities and KPI alignment.
• Oversee assembly process tooling design, qualification and trials.
• Improve efficiency by optimizing workflow, space, and equipment layout.
• Collaborate with COE to drive continuous improvement in assembly technology and process.
• Maintain tooling documentation and setup; ensure up-to-date drawings.
• Train and develop new joiners and technicians.
• Drive automation opportunities and MES/traceability initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors for tooling assessment and capacity.

Job Title: SUPV MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

Manufacturing Engineer Assembly will focus on productivity, reducing time, building systems, maintain ISO documents and standards, etc. Must have comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of automation assembly process, machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment. Knowledge in Assembly / Tooling design is a must.

Job Resposibilities:

• Responsible for various KPI’s pertaining manufacturing engineering and Team Management skills is must.
• Responsible for assembly Process, Tool Design development, (New & Old tools) Qualification and Trial
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
• Work with Global COE Assembly to drive continuous improvement in Assembly Technology / Process
• Maintain proper documentation and for all assembly tooling, Spares and Process Set-up
• Ensure all Tooling / automation design drawings (Soft & Hard Copy) are up to date.
• Impart trainings and development for new joiners, Technical Trainees etc.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement.
• Assessing resource requirements and opportunity for Automation and Process Productivity improvement
• Review of TEOA deployment
• Review ISO documents and update, Engage in ISO audits.
• Visit vendors for Assembly tooling assessment (Capability, Know How & Capacity)
• Monitoring of AM and PM and Effectiveness
• Able to run the machine and instruct and train technicians to run the machine
• CCD and PLC and Electrical Knowledge Preferably

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering major orElectrical Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience and practitioner in the automation assembly and Tooling Design & Development
• CAD Knowledge Must, preferably Pro E / Creo & Auto-cad, Solidworks, HMI (Human Machine interface).
• DFM analysis, New automation or manual assembly / Tooling RFQ.
• Assembly line Tooling & Tool Debugging Knowledge.
• Computer Knowledge, MS Office etc, SAP knowledge added advantage

• Advance digital acumen, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and traceability.
