MEGA PRIME FOODS INCORPORATED in the Philippines is seeking a Distribution Planning Officer to optimize product availability across the supply chain by aligning demand forecasts with warehouse capacity and inventory targets.
You will coordinate with Production, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth product flow, monitor KPIs, manage stock allocations, and implement process improvements that reduce costs and boost supply chain resilience.
The Distribution Planning Officer ensures optimal product availability across the supply chain network by developing and executing distribution plans aligned with demand forecasts, warehouse capacity, and inventory targets. This role balances customer service levels with cost efficiency by coordinating with supply, logistics, and commercial teams to maintain seamless product flow across all distribution channels.
Distribution & Replenishment Planning: Develop and execute network-wide distribution schedules using demand forecasts and capacity data to maintain product availability and minimize stockouts.
Inventory Control & Health Monitoring: Track inventory turnover, safety stock thresholds, and ABC classifications across regional warehouses to optimize working capital and stock health.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Production Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Commercial teams to align transport capacity, order commitments, and delivery schedules.
Performance Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs)—including service levels, cost-to-serve, and stock turn—and publish actionable dashboards for management.
Warehouse Stock Allocation: Oversee monthly stock positioning across distribution points to maintain balanced inventory distribution across warehouses and forward stocking locations.
Exception & Exception Management: Manage backorder alerts, supply disruptions, and urgent customer requests through rapid contingency plans to maintain supply continuity.
Process Improvement: Participate in digital planning initiatives and process reviews to streamline workflows, reduce distribution cost-to-serve, and increase supply chain resilience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in supply chain planning, distribution management, or inventory replenishment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, planning software, spreadsheet modeling, and quantitative data analytics.
Core Competencies: Solid understanding of distribution logistics, quantitative reasoning, cross-functional collaboration, and risk resolution.
