Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Global Network Design Modeler to advance network optimization modeling across the end-to-end supply chain. You will build and refine optimization models using tools like Supply Chain Guru and Data Guru to drive cost efficiency and profitability.

The role requires translating complex business problems into analytical frameworks, maintaining models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in a supply chain planning/optimization function utilizing Modelling & Technical Design tools, such as Llamasoft, Coupa SCG, JDA or similar.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Tableau and Power BI
• Manage of big data bases on SQL or similar (nice to have)
• Use of Supply Chain Guru and Data Guru (must have)

Responsibilities

• Support the validation and implementation of advanced supply chain models and tools to optimize the E2E supply chain.
• Develop and maintain network optimization models to evaluate project hypothesis and strategic alternatives and quantify model changes in end-to-end supply chain.
• Translate complex business problems into optimization models using tools like Supply Chain Guru
• Utilize organizational systems and tools for data collection and to build project facts, benchmarking analyses, etc.
• Ability to evaluate optimization models inputs and outputs by data automation, executing models, analyzing data and reporting
• Partner with cross functional teams to provide necessary inputs for long term projects and ensure that project recommendations are organizationally aligned
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently and work well under tight timelines
• Develops domain knowledge and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Network Modeling and analytics

Job description

This opportunity contributes to the advancement of next-generation network design capabilities, driving industry-leading design excellence across Global business units, Sectors, and ND Global Capability Centers throughout the end-to-end value chain.

This role is responsible for developing and refining network optimization modeling projects and analyses that help source, deploy, store, and deliver our portfolio of products to customers at the lowest cost while supporting long-term growth. The Global Network Design Modeler is responsible for driving the testing of advanced modeling tools and designing new approaches and systems to optimize our supply chain network. This role requires deep understanding of optimization algorithms, data science techniques and supply chain operations. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for building and analyzing optimization models using state-of-the-art optimization software to create scalable and effective solutions.

This will enable identification of transformative projects that will deliver significant levels of profitability, efficiency, sustainability, and service, that align with the organization’s global operational objectives.
