Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in the Philippines is seeking an experienced SCM professional to lead demand planning and end-to-end procurement from Manila. You will collaborate with sales, finance, and product management to develop forecasts, manage stock, and ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and ERP experience (SAP/AX), with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment to optimize inventory and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience with cost analysis, financial management, and supplier negotiation within supply chain/logistics.
• Ability to develop operational forecasts and manage stock/warehousing.
• ERP experience with SAP and AX is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for sales forecast & demand supply planning regions and nationwide.
• Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Forecast stock volume/space capacity for warehouse operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile variances and refine forecast models.
• Interact with sales, finance and product management to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Provide input to inventory strategies for existing items, stock items, new products, and phase-outs.
• Manage and report stock availability, forecast accuracy and stock efficiency; identify improvements and cleanse historical data.

Job description

• Receive the sales orders intake from sales team and process into ERP system.
• Checking the delivery lead-time and feedback to customers/sales teams for delivery plan.
• Generate the billing and delivery request to warehouse for actual goods delivery to customers.

Demand Planning:

• Develop sales forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for sales forecast & demand supply planning regions and nationwide.
• Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Forecast stock volume/ space capacity for warehouse operations
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing activities assumptions.
• Interact with sales, finance and Product management to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales and Product Management, finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
• Provide input to the in developing inventory strategies on existing items, stock item, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Manage, control and regularly report stock availability, forecast accuracy and stock efficiency.
• Recommends and defines improvements.
• Utilizes software tools to cleanse and analyze historical data.
• Manage to clear slow/non-moving items.

Purchasing & Shipping & Warehousing:

• Responsible for strategic and advanced purchasing activities within the company while ensuring compliance with overall objectives and strategies of the company.
• Lead general Supplier affairs, e.g. Claim Management, Analysis of potential Suppliers and Resourcing, Continuous Improvement Process, Financial Improvement Processes etc.
• Delivering budget control /management of annual cost reduction targets.
• Review the process of following up order request to P.O
• Develop and manage forwarders, shipping agencies to handle the shipments from factory sides to Vietnam local ports.
• Handle the tax declaration, tax payment, custom clearance.
• Work with warehouse agency to manage the local warehouse and goods inbound and outbound.
• Handle and document the sales contracts.
• Laisse with suppliers and product management for product issues, claims.

Functional:

• Experience with Cost Analysis, Financial Management / Budget management & supplier negotiation / supply chain / logistics
• Ability to pinpoint opportunities and risks related to the demand plan on effective resolutions to the issue
• Demonstrate strategic planning, statistical expertise, sales orientation, forecasting methods proficiency, communication abilities and computer competencies
• Previous work with AX or/and SAP (ERP) is an advantage

Take care of SCM end to end capacity of the country and lead the entire SCM team in Manila.
