Job Description
The role of a Supply Chain Supervisor is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department. This position involves coordinating with various teams, implementing efficient processes, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services throughout the supply chain. The Supply Chain Supervisor plays a key role in optimizing productivity, reducing costs, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Vendor Management: Source and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements. Evaluate supplier performance and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors.
- Inventory & Logistics: Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while reducing excess inventory and carrying costs. Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including selecting and managing providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Implement strategies to minimize transportation expenses and resolve any related issues.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of supply chain professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes accountability and continuous learning.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the order fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the supply chain and collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and utilize data and performance metrics to drive efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a supply chain environment.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and technology used for supply chain optimization.
Analytics: Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
