Job summary

AUMOVIO Autonomous Mobility Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Quality / Supplier Management professional to strengthen our SQM program in Laguna.

You will drive processes to prevent defects, coordinate with suppliers on material issues, and implement corrective actions to meet strict quality standards. The role requires engineering training, strong knowledge of automotive QMS, and hands-on experience with quality tools and supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Computer or Materials.
• Knowledge of automotive QMS such as IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and local corporate QMS.
• Experience in mechanical manufacturing industries (PCB, stamping, casting, cables, plastics, mechatronics, rubber).
• Basic understanding of environmental systems and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methods for process controls and improvement.
• Experience with problem solving tools (8D, A3) and supplier training.

Responsibilities

• Implement robust controls to prevent defects from entering shopfloor and protect profit targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers to analyze material issues and drive preventive actions.
• Consolidate supplier NCC costs through SCB or RMAs for non-conformance.
• Define focus areas, measurable targets, and projects impacting SQM KPI achievement.
• Deploy SQM Quality strategy to all stakeholders and teams.
• Perform SWOT analysis on SQM processes for ongoing improvement.
• Coordinate with SQM CI on handover from NPI to Series Production.
• Support supplier audits for new business/products/technology.
• Execute supplier management activities to track quality deviations (zero tolerance).
• Lead root cause analysis and implement countermeasures with suppliers.
