Job summary

melcoresorts is seeking a Supervisor, Revenue Audit to oversee the daily revenue audit process, review journal entries for accuracy, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will guide the audit team and coordinate with Finance and Business Units.

You will supervise POS system configurations and access requests, prepare reconciliations, and deliver reports on schedule. Strong English communication and Excel skills are essential; hospitality or casino experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years audit or accounting experience.
• Hospitality or casino industry experience preferred.
• Graduate of business-related course, preferably accounting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the preparation of daily journal entries to record revenue, expenses, and balance sheet postings.
• Prepares monthly reconciliation of system reports against general ledger balances.
• Coordinates with Finance and Business Unit to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions and address operational issues or provide operational support.
• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports as mandated by government regulators and senior management.
• Supervises auditing of all activity in accordance with Revenue Audit standard operating procedures.
• Reviews menu item configuration in the POS system and system access requests to ensure validity, accuracy and completeness.
• Provides training and guidance to the Auditors.
• Supervises retrieval of documents requested by Internal and External Auditors.
• Assists the Manager, Audit in the supervision of the Audit team.
• Develops processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identification and resolution of accounting exceptions including escalation as needed.
• Completion of monthly accounting close with minimal unresolved reconciling items.
• Effective communication with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Adheres and supports the Company's Vision and Values.
• All other duties as assigned by Management

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor reviews the journal entries prepared by the Auditor to ensure accuracy with accordance to GAAP. He / She manages the daily auditing process providing guidance & support to the auditing team and ensure reports are distributed on or before the agreed timeline. He / She is responsible for reviewing Menu configuration, testing and access request of POS system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years Audit or Accounting experience
• Work experience in casino or hospitality industry is preferred

II. Education

• Graduate of Business-related course preferably in Accounting

III. Skills / Competencies

• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office Products particularly Excel.
