Job summary

Maples Group, a global leader in financial services, partners with MicroSourcing in Manila to hire a KYC Team Lead. Based in BGC, Taguig City, this hybrid day-shift role leads a small team of analysts to ensure customer due diligence.

You will provide guidance, training, and risk management, liaising with international stakeholders across jurisdictions, and ensuring compliance with AML/KYC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder with 5–7 years of hands-on AML/KYC/Compliance.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under high-volume pressures and tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead a small team of KYC Analysts responsible for collecting and reviewing documentation to meet CDD requirements.
• Guidance & Training: Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to KYC Analysts and other Maples Group team members on AML/KYC issues.
• Workflow Management: Monitor the team’s workflow to ensure deliverables are on track and timely.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure all applicable compliance standards and risk policies are adhered to.
• Global Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with Maples Group colleagues, internal teams, clients and third parties across jurisdictions.

Your Role

As a KYC Team Lead, your primary responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Lead a small team of KYC Analysts responsible for collecting and reviewing documentation to meet Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements.
• Guidance & Training: Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to KYC Analysts and other Maples Group team members on AML/KYC-related issues.
• Workflow Management: Assist with monitoring the team’s workflow, ensuring deliverables are on track and completed in a timely manner.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure all applicable compliance standards and risk policies are strictly adhered to.
• Global Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with other members of the Maples Group, internal teams, clients, and external third parties across various international jurisdictions.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree holder with 5–7 years of hands-on experience handling AML, KYC, or Compliance tasks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High degree of attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency under high-volume pressures and tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Specific knowledge of Cayman Islands AML/KYC requirements and/or a recognized AML qualification.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to read and interpret complex legal/compliance documentation.
• Proactive mindset—self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable taking the initiative.
