Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Real Assets team in the Alabang area. You will handle operational deliverables, client communications, and staff supervision while ensuring accuracy in ledgers, financial statements, and capital activity.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor/Master in accounting, CPA pursuit, 4+ years in real estate accounting, and strong Excel with MRI/Yardi/Investran proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in accounting required.
• Professional accounting designation preferred (CPA designation pursued).
• 4+ years of real estate accounting experience in public or private sectors.
• 2+ years of supervising or coaching staff.
• Experience reviewing general ledgers and financial statements; IFRS and US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review operational deliverables in line with client SLAs.
• Act as central point of contact for clients.
• Assist Operations Manager in workload allocation and process improvements.
• Support staff with complex deliverables and troubleshooting.
• Review capital activity, cash flows, reconciliations and related working papers.
• Coordinate with auditors, legal counsel, and investors.
• Prepare financial statements and partner capital statements.

About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the most respected industries. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Real Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

• Complete and review of operational deliverables in line with Service Level Agreements with clients.
• Act as central point of contact for clients.
• Assist Operations Manager in allocation of work to staff, work-flow processes and improvements.
• Assist staff with their work as needs arise and prepare more complex deliverables.
• Break resolution for all open items with the clients.
• Ensure client deadlines are met.
• Support the conversion of any new clients and existing migrations.
• Liaise with multiple external parties (auditors, legal counsel, investors).
• Review Quarterly/Monthly reports and working papers, which include Cash and Position, Reconciliations, Expense Accruals, Agree Dividends and Interest Accruals if applicable.
• Review all capital activity pertaining to the funds (Capital Call and Distribution processing).
• Review Limited Partner and General partners/Shareholder Allocation; calculations/schedules – includes review of Admin/Management fees/Waterfall/Clawback calculations
• Trial balances and related working papers.
• Complete financial statements, footnotes and Partner Capital Statements.

About You:

• Bachelor or Master level degree in accounting
• Professional accounting designation is preferred
• Designated accountant or working towards CPA
• 4+ years of public/private real estate accounting work experience
• 2+ years of previous experience supervising/coaching staff
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting a plus
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
• Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines
• A Team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities
• Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills
• Liaise with property management companies
• Knowledge of real estate multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
• Advanced level MS Excel and proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, or Investran a plus
• Amenable to work and be assigned in our Alabang office (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City)
