Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a senior finance professional for its Private Equity SPV team at the Alabang Office. You will oversee client relationships, financial reporting, and complex fund structures while coordinating with executive management.

Requirements include 10+ years in accounting for financial services, IFRS/USGAAP knowledge, and supervisory experience. Hybrid work arrangement (3 onsite days) is offered with shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA)
• 10+ years’ experience in accounting for financial services (Private Equity, Asset Management, or Fund Administration)
• Supervisory experience managing staff for 8+ years
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements
• Knowledge of accounting/consolidations under IFRS
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Team player with strong client relationship management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• Experience with enterprise accounting systems; Investran desirable
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting; private equity/real estate fund experience
• Willingness to work at Alabang Office; hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite)
• Willingness to work shifting schedules (AM or Mid-shift)

Responsibilities

About the Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Private Equity SPV team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Responsibilities

• You will maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/product offering.

• Leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offering our products and services

• In partnership with the Vice President and Executive Management team, facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients

• Liaise internally with key functional teams to ensure awareness by all of key client requirements

• Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities

• In partnership with the Vice Presidents, oversee the resolution of complex client issues

• Ensure strong emphasis on escalation and complaints management within the team and within the department

• Manage, train and coach assigned Vice Presidents in the successful running of their teams

• Review departmental procedures and policies and supervise Vice Presidents to ensure adherence to these procedures

• Lead and initiate client conference calls

• Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines; ensure delivery in an accurate and timely manner

• Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration

• Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high risk projects

• Manage and oversee staffing requirements

• Ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation

• Actively manage operational risk – monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team

• Actively participate in departmental and company-wide projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, any other professional accounting qualification (i.e. CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.

• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 8+ years.

• Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP

• Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.

• Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS.

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).

• Motivated, bright and diligent individuals who is driven to meet deadlines.

• A team player who can manage individual responsibilities.

• Good client/ business relationship management

• Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).

• User experience with enterprise accounting system(s).

• Working knowledge of Investran is highly desirable

• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting

• Private equity/real estate fund experience. Exposure to complex fund structure, waterfall computation, preferred return.

• Amenable to working in our Alabang Office (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City).

• Amenable to working under Hybrid work arrangements (3 days' onsite per week)

• Amenable to working on shifting schedules (AM or Mid-shift)
