Job summary

Quanta Philippines ROHQ is seeking a Structural Engineer to work with clients and engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role involves design of gas and energy structures, reports, drawings, and tender materials.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with fatigue analysis, and proficiency in MS Office and SpaceGass.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with at least 4 years post-graduate experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Experience with construction contractors or EPCM consultancy.
• Experience in steel structures and concrete support.
• Understanding of fatigue analysis in onshore structures.
• Knowledge of materials for onshore gas and energy facilities.
• Proven technical capability and commercial acumen.
• Experience delivering projects within timeframes and budget.
• Familiarity with risk management and safety protocols.
• Strong relationship and conflict management experience.
• Proficient with MS applications.
• Experience with SpaceGass.
• Willingness to work from client's offices when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Position Summary:

The Structural Engineer will work closely with clients, engineering colleagues, project managers and cross functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design and Analysis
• Develop and verify structural designs for gas and energy installations, including pipelines, onshore facilities, and support structures.
• Prepare clear and detailed structural analysis reports, drawings, and specifications that meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve structural engineering calculations and drawings for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, drafters, and other engineers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of project deliverables.
• Preparation, submission, and evaluation of tender packages, bids, and proposals
• Vendor package management and expediting
• Attend internal and external project meetings as required to support project management and discipline lead
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and design reviews
• Complete engineering tasks within the allocated timeframe to the specified quality level

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree qualified engineer with minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in an aligned industry.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar
• Experience working for construction contractor or EPCM consultancy
• Experience in engineering of steel structures and concrete support
• Understanding of fatigue analysis in onshore structures.
• Knowledge of materials and their application onshore gas and energy facilities.
• Proven technical capability and commercial acumen.
• Experience of managing and delivering projects within timeframes and budget.
• Familiarity with risk management practices and safety protocols in high-stakes environments.
• Relationship management, conflict management and resolution and problem-solving experience.
• Strong computer literacy skills with knowledge of MS applications
• Experience with Spacegass
• Adaptability to be able to work directly from client's offices representing Enscope when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal & external stakeholders
