Job summary

optiBPO in Ortigas, Manila is seeking a Structural Draftsperson with 5-7 years drafting experience in a consultancy, proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT Structural, and strong English communication. The role focuses on detailed drawings for structural engineering projects and close collaboration with the Senior Structural Draftsperson and Project Leader.

Office-based in Ortigas with morning shift; you will work to company procedures, manage drawing production costs, and pursue ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree in Drafting or Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5-7 years drafting experience gained within a consultancy environment.
• Proficient with AutoCAD; working knowledge of REVIT Structural and BIM tools.

Primary Objective

Assistance in the preparation of detailed drawings from sketches and designs, for Structural engineering projects in accordance with the company Structural drafting procedures.

Senior Structural Draftsperson, Manager – Structural Engineering

Authority

The Structural Draftsperson has the authority to carry out tasks in accordance with the responsibilities detailed within this Position Description and as per the direction of the Project Leader

Qualification Requirements

• Qualifications
• Technical or associate degree in Drafting or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Relevant Experience
• 5-7 years drafting experience gained within a consultancy environment.
• Strong project management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in structural drawing of relevant projects, including Commercial / Industrial Tilt panel constructions Multi-storey apartments Setting out of concrete slab and steel plans/layouts Competent in the use of: AutoCAD, working knowledge of REVIT Structural, Microsoft Office, Australian/UK Standards, Local Government Design Manuals.

Other Skills

• Understanding of relevant Australian/UK standards, State and local Governmentpolicies and guidelines. Knowledge and application of Structural engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures, and construction techniques. Ability to comply with company Standards. Time Management skills

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 5-7 years (Australian) experience in structural drafting using Revit on residential, commercial, and/or data centres.
• 5-7 years Revit experience using BIM 360, RTV, Aconex, etc. (understanding of Dynamo is an advantage, but not essential)
• Strong English communication
• Office-based role
