Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Mandaluyong is seeking a Structural Design Technician to join our Project Delivery team.

You will turn engineering concepts into high-quality structural models and construction documents using 2D and 3D tools (Revit/BIM), collaborating with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of structural drafting/design experience.
• College coursework in Revit or 10+ year hands‑on Revit experience.
• Minimum 1 year of AutoCAD experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural models and construction deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD, with a focus on steel and concrete structures
• Create structural models from scratch based on sketches, redlines, and verbal direction from engineers
• Coordinate structural designs with other disciplines using clash detection tools
• Incorporate and manage electronic redlines following established workflows
• Take full ownership of your assigned structural scope, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Perform self‑checks and coordinate design packages to minimize conflicts
• Provide support and informal mentoring to junior designers when needed
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure compliance with project and structural standards
• Actively contribute to improving workflows, tools, and design automation initiatives
