Job summary

Aboitiz Power Corporation (Power) seeks a Corporate Strategy Executive to lead long-term direction setting and strategic goal development to maintain AP's competitive advantage in the power sector. You will manage strategy development processes, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, model market trends and technologies, assess industry risks, and present findings to senior management.

Role requires a Bachelor''s degree, a Master''s preferred, and at least 5 years in strategy-related roles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in either a strategy, corporate planning or business development role or in consulting, investment banking, investing, equity research.
• Significant experience in the electricity and/or power sector.
• Experience in market modelling using forecast tools (e.g. EMCAS, Marketsym, PLEXOS, Origin).

Responsibilities

• Manage the process to develop, align, document, and monitor AP strategies.
• Lead strategy workstreams and cross-functional initiatives with issue identification, analysis, and synthesis of recommendations.
• Model and forecast long-term market prices and key trends in commodities and technologies.
• Gather and analyze information on industry and competition locally and abroad.
• Monitor and evaluate potential industry disruptors to AP strategy.
• Develop feasibility studies for new business models and projects.
• Engage with external stakeholders and represent AP in external activities.

Corporate Strategy Executive

The position is responsible for managing the process through which Aboitiz Power (AP) decides on long-term direction and sets strategic goals to help AP maintain and increase its competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the process to develop, align, document, andmonitor AP strategies
• Lead single and/or manage multiple Strategy and cross-functional workstreams (e.g., issue identification,problem structuring, analysis, and synthesis ofrecommendations)
  • Model and forecast long-term market prices and key trends, including key commodities andtechnologies
  • Gather and analyze information on industry and competition, locally and abroad, including in-depthunderstanding of key players
  • Monitor, assess and evaluate the impact of potential industry disruptors (technology, legal,political) to AP strategy
  • Develop feasibility studies for new business modelsand projects
• Develop Strategy manager capabilities throughon-the-job coaching and feedback
• Support senior management to spot, assess, and takedecisions to capture opportunities / mitigate risk
• Engage with external stakeholders and represent AP inselect external activities / executive forums
• Present findings to key AP stakeholders
