Converge ICT Solutions Inc. seeks a Strategic Transition Lead to supervise and drive critical strategic initiatives and complex business transitions within Operations Enablement.
You will bridge strategy and operations, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and lead alignment across regional units, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in project management/transition roles, strong PM capabilities (Jira, Excel), and a PMP/CAPM/Prince2 or Lean Six Sigma
The Strategic Transition Lead is a supervisor-level project and transition management professional responsible for driving the successful execution of critical strategic initiatives, complex business transitions, and special high-priority projects within the Operations Enablement division.
This role ensures that shifts in operating models (such as territorial partner consolidations) are seamlessly executed across various geographic regions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between strategy and operations—managing timelines, mitigating risks, and directly leading alignment across regional business units, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Project & Transition ManagementLead the end-to-end execution of mid-to-large-scale strategic transitions, ensuring milestones (from accreditation to operational Go-Live) are delivered on time and within scope.
Develop detailed project charters, master implementation schedules (milestone trackers), and critical path assessments for assigned special projects.
Monitor post-transition phases, managing the 'Stabilization and Hypercare' periods to guarantee operational continuity and rapid issue resolution.Stakeholder Coordination & AlignmentAct as the primary point of contact for external partners (such as Managed Service Providers/MSPs) during transition phases, establishing clear communication protocols and accountability boundaries.
Facilitate Go/No-Go (GNG) readiness reviews across legal, system, financial, and operational criteria before authorizing project handovers.
Collaborate and maintain tight alignment with Regional Business Managers (RGMs), Commercial teams, Procurement, and Vendor Management.Governance, Reporting & AnalyticsMaintain highly accurate project dashboards, tracking dimension statuses (e.g., Strategic, Financial, Operational) and presenting regular progress updates to the Program & Central PMO Head.
Identify, document, and escalat project risks, bottlenecks, or partner non-compliance issues with recommended mitigation strategies.
Ensure all transition documentation, asset transfers (Deeds of Sale), and compliance permits are systematically tracked and finalized.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience in Project Management, PMO, or operations Transition Management. Experience in Telecom, ICT, or managing Managed Service Providers (MSP) / third party vendor networks is highly preferred.
Level: Proven track record in a supervisory, team leads, or project analyst role.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira or advanced Excel timeline tracking).
Experience in operational readiness mapping (system integration, legal compliance tracking, asset transfer procedures).
Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or Prince2) or Lean Six Sigma is a strong advantage.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage complex conversations with external partners and maintain firm boundary.
Political Savvy & Professionalism: Capable of interacting and providing updates that roll up to C-suite / SVP executives or regional leaders.
