Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist in the Philippines to lead sourcing, negotiation, drafting and administration of software, services, maintenance, OEM contracts and licenses for medium-to-high risk engagements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sourcing, procurement and contracts management, strong English communication, and experience managing supplier relationships in a global context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above required.
• 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, and contracts management experience.
• Fluency in oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and negotiation of professional services agreements in support of Toshiba customer solutions including HR, Payroll, Consulting, Contract Labor and others.
• Contract Management – to prepare, negotiate and implement appropriate forms of contract and commitment with suppliers
• Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Supplier Performance Management – to ensure supplier agreements and relationships have good metrics embedded; monitor, report and improve supplier performance.
• Interfacing with supplier and executives, legal counsel, IP law, and multiple lines of business clients
• Implementing various supply chain initiatives
• Performing supplier evaluation and selection
• Establishing, executing, and tracking project plans
• Monitoring industry practices to maintain awareness of current practices
• Supporting procurement activities within a region or geography
