SGS Philippines Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage contracts with local and international suppliers.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, aligning with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely PO processing and compliance with SGS QHSEE policies. The role requires meticulous analysis of spend, supplier performance, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for strategic sourcing management goals and implement actions to achieve business requirements.
• Analyze and manage contracts to optimize terms, ensuring compliance and identifying enhancement opportunities.
• Facilitate vendor-related activities including system registration, onsite inspection, and evaluation.
• Source local and foreign suppliers and implement supplier agreements when beneficial.
• Evaluate, select, and establish relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.
• Analyze industry trends and technology to identify supply base risks and opportunities.
• Develop and deliver regular spend reports from available data sources.
• Analyze category, market, and industry trends to inform procurement decisions.
• Perform other tasks related to the work designation as instructed by the supervisor.
• Receive and review all requirements prepared by end-users/business.
• Negotiate price and delivery lead times with stakeholders.
• Recommend suppliers for awarding in compliance with procurement procedures.
• Auto-create purchase orders in Oracle from approved requisitions.
• Open PO analysis and reconciliation; GR/IR analysis.
• Contract management and ensuring timely PO delivery.
• Prepare, update and consolidate the monitoring tool for imports with coordination with procurement team.
• Identify frequency of requirements and prepare contracts to cover goods/services (BPA/CPA in Oracle).
• Submit Monthly Operations Report to Procurement Manager.
• Report other items as required and ensure compliance with SGS QHSEE policies.
• Maintain 5S, safety awareness, and environmental health in the workplace.
• Participate in incident investigations and risk assessments as needed.
• Fulfills the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management System.
• Recognizes the potential consequences of not following policies and guidelines.
