Job summary

Intellismart Technology Inc. is seeking a proactive Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement operations in Metro Manila.

You will source reliable vendors, manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely deliveries to keep our operations efficient and cost‑effective. Key duties include vendor research and negotiation, forecasting stock needs from consumption data, end‑to‑end PO management, and collaboration with warehouse staff to reconcile deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related business field such as supply chain, business administration or accounting.
• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on purchasing, procurement, or inventory control experience.
• Solid understanding of purchasing procedures, inventory management, and supply chain workflows.
• Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP or inventory management software.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills with clear communication.
• Experience in retail or warehouse logistics environments.
• Proven track record in cost-reduction or successful vendor negotiations.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor research and selection to optimize costs and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Utilize consumption data to forecast stock and determine purchasing needs.
• Manage end-to-end purchase orders and oversee shipping/delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to reconcile deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist procurement with invoice reconciliation, vendor payments, and reporting tasks.
