• Negotiates or renegotiates contracts with suppliers.
• Administers bidding processes and contracts.
• Researches and ensures contracts comply with government and company regulations.
• Evaluates contractor performance against specifications.
• Develops and implements purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.
• Maintains purchasing records and documents per policies.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities.
• Reviews supplier prices periodically.
• Improves purchasing methods and processes.
• Performs cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.
• Researches suppliers and contractors to compare pricing and services.
• Keeps current with purchasing technology trends and oversees implementation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
