Job summary

Arky construction and supply in the Philippines is seeking a Purchasing Officer to source vendors locally and internationally, negotiate terms, and manage orders and costs. You will build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include researching potential vendors for motorpool parts and other departments, issuing POs in SAP ByD, tracking orders, analyzing costs, and preparing purchase reports.

Qualifications

• Having previously worked as Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar role is essential.
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. Procurify or SAP Byd System)
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vendors locally and internationally.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing.
• Prepare reports on purchases, costs and orders.
• Create and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Track orders and monitor stock levels.
• Process purchase orders in SAP ByD.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage and handling.
• Attend trade shows to stay updated with industry trends.
