Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Procurement & Purchasing professional in Taguig to source and manage suppliers for food, beverage, and commissary operations. You will handle POs, stock monitoring, and supplier negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and reliable supply chains.

The role requires 2–3 years in purchasing, experience with ERP/POS systems (NetSuite) and strong Excel skills. You will coordinate closely with Store Operations and Accounting for smooth operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, SCM, Hospitality Management, or related field.
2–3 years purchasing experience; restaurants/hotels/food manufacturing preferred.
Experience handling food, beverage, and operational supplies preferred.
Knowledge of ERP/POS purchasing modules (NetSuite) advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and purchasing documentation.

Responsabilités

Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers meeting quality, pricing, and reliability standards.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders based on approved requests.
Ensure purchases are authorized per company limits.
Monitor stock from stores/ commissary to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and receiving personnel.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebates, and delivery schedules.
Develop long-term relationships with key suppliers.
Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, pricing, service.
Resolve supplier issues, shortages, damaged goods, and delivery discrepancies.
Obtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers.
Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
Monitor market price fluctuations for food commodities and supplies.
Recommend alternative products or suppliers when appropriate.
Work with Store Operations to determine purchasing requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
Assist in reducing slow-moving/obsolete inventory and coordinate emergency purchases.
Maintain complete purchasing records and supplier documentation.
Ensure all purchasing transactions comply with policies and audit requirements.
Update supplier price lists and product specifications.
Assist Accounting in invoice reconciliation and supplier payment concerns.
Prepare regular reports: Purchase summary, Supplier performance, Cost savings, Price variance analysis, Outstanding POs, Supplier accreditation status.
