Job summary

Whiteplane, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee the company’s purchasing and procurement activities across Construction, Administration, General Services, and other units.

You will ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods, materials, equipment, and services while maintaining compliance with policies and budgets. The role requires a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to supplier management, cost control, and procurement procedures, with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing/Procurement, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably in multi-site operations.
• Strong working knowledge of supplier sourcing, canvassing, negotiation, purchase orders, inventory requirements, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company’s overall purchasing and procurement operations.
• Establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure proper and efficient procurement.
• Monitor budgets, purchasing policies, specifications, and authorization procedures.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, contracts, and procurement reports.
