Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager based in the Philippines to own procurement and inventory as a core function. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, supplier negotiations, and inbound freight while supporting the NetSuite rollout for procurement and inventory processes.

You will work with the client as an independent contractor on a 100% remote basis, coordinating with Australian suppliers and teams to ensure stock availability and optimal working capital.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in procurement/supply chain for importer, distributor or wholesaler.
• 3+ years owning the function (sole owner or team lead) with physical goods.
• NetSuite hands-on experience including procurement/inventory modules.
• Demand forecasting and inventory optimization experience.
• Strong Excel and Power BI capabilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing and inventory planning across key suppliers.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from forecasting to goods receipt.
• Lead demand planning using sales history, seasonality, lead times, MOQs, safety stock.
• Monitor and optimize inventory and working capital.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, and contracts.
• Oversee inbound freight, logistics, and ETA tracking.
• Support NetSuite procurement/inventory setup and maintenance.
• Provide clear reporting on inventory, purchasing, and supplier performance.
