Job summary

WPP Media in the Philippines, an AI-driven media unit of WPP, seeks a Manager - Planning to lead a team of Planners, manage a group of brands, and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to drive strategic media solutions.

You will develop insights, propose platforms, oversee budgets, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with MBA, research, and other specialists to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and number skills
• Good understanding of media channels, both digital and traditional
• Passion for learning and openness to new challenges
• Must come with digital planning understanding
• Work Experience: 4-6 years in media/ marketing/ brand management experience

Responsibilities

• Attend client communications and media briefs
• Deliver strategic responses to business issues/challenges
• Recommend platforms (ATL & Digital) and investment level based on objectives and directions
• Manage brand budgets on an annual and monthly level
• Monitor and analyze brand and competitive activities to gain learnings
• Lead discussions with brand teams on communication reviews and upcoming media plans/activities
• Utilize media and research tools to craft data-based media solutions
• Deliver accurate and timely tracking reports
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Seek and recommend media innovations addressing business needs
• Lead and mentor team to improve strategic thinking skills and operational discipline
