WPP Media, within Wavemaker, seeks a Senior Planning Manager to lead media planning, guide strategy, and drive client growth across digital and traditional channels. You will mentor a planning team, shape integrated campaigns, and partner with internal and client teams to ensure strong ROI and innovative media solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Client Management: Act as the lead strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, translating complex objectives into media strategies.
Team & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Managers and Planners, fostering strategic thinking and growth.
Commercial Acumen & Business Performance: Drive commercial success and oversee budgets, allocations, and ROI.
Operational Excellence & Innovation: Refine planning guidelines, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and output.
In three months: establish strong working relationships with key senior clients and onboard into the leadership structure.
In six months: lead development of high-impact planning strategies and support new business pitches.
In 12 months: deliver tangible commercial results and foster team excellence.
