Job summary

BillEase in Makati is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Officer to develop and maintain the organization's risk management framework, identify and assess risks, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams to promote a strong risk culture, oversee business continuity initiatives, and support the organization's operational resilience as it grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, math, statistics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in credit risk management in banking, lending, fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of ECL, IFRS 9, credit scoring and portfolio risk management practices.
• Proven experience in data analysis and risk reporting.
• Knowledge of BSP regulations is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the enterprise-wide risk management framework.
• Coordinate risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Manage strategic, third-party, AML/CFT, compliance, and technology-related risks.
• Perform vendor and third-party risk assessments.
• Ensure alignment with BSP regulations and governance requirements.
• Prepare enterprise risk reports for senior management and board committees.
• Support risk appetite framework development and monitoring.
• Coordinate risk management activities across business units.
