Job summary

Tether.io is seeking a Program Manager with expertise in the mining industry to oversee projects in Central America. This role involves managing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects while aligning with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field, along with over 6 years of progressive experience in the industry. Proficiency in project management tools and strong bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in the mining industry, with at least 3-5 years managing complex programs.
• PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal skills in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for mining initiatives in Central America.
• Define program scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external consultants.
• Manage relationships with government authorities and local institutions to advance permits.
