Job summary

Fortuna Mining Corporation in Manila is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects across mining, dredging, and shipping operations. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets and standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, communicating with clients and suppliers, and delivering comprehensive project documentation throughout initiation to close-out.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
3-5 years of project management experience in mining, dredging, shipping or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement and contract administration.
Familiarity with HSEQ management systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, execute, monitor, and close projects within scope, schedule and budget.
Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and cost estimates.
Coordinate activities across engineering, operations, procurement, logistics, marine and construction.
Monitor progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions to control delays and costs.
Manage budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
Oversee contractor performance and manage procurement activities.
Prepare and present status reports to senior management and clients.
Conduct project meetings, track KPIs, and maintain documentation.
Coordinate permitting, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder engagement.
