Job summary

AsiaPeopleSearch Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Manager to lead merchandise planning, inventory management, forecasting, and allocation.

You will align strategies with seasonal plans and drive collaboration across Ecommerce, Warehouse, Marketing, Store Operations, and other business units to ensure effective execution of inventory initiatives. The role requires strategic direction to the MPCD team and strong leadership to optimize stock, reporting, and performance analytics in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• 3–5 years experience in merchandising, merchandise planning, inventory analysis, retail operations, or related functions
• Ability to analyze sales, inventory productivity, and merchandise performance trends
• Supervisory or team coordination experience is an advantage
• Experience in retail, apparel, fashion, or FMCG industry is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise planning, inventory management, reporting, forecasting, and allocation functions
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Ecommerce, Warehouse, Marketing, Store Operations, and other business units
• Prepare and validate sales dashboards, category reports, sell-through analysis, MTS, and inventory reports
• Analyze sales and inventory trends and escalate key issues to management
• Support forecasting, allocation, and replenishment activities aligned with category priorities
• Coordinate inventory movement with Warehouse and Store Operations
• Oversee markdowns, promotions, and inventory productivity initiatives
• Ensure timely submission of reports and support management presentations
• Provide day-to-day supervision to Category Analysts and Merchandising Assistants
