Job summary

Promote Iligan is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to source and acquire materials for the Engineering Department, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

You will negotiate with suppliers, manage pricing records in QuickBooks, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate with accounting and warehouse teams. Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in purchasing or supply chain are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or related field required.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source materials online and canvass suppliers for pricing.
• Record and update material pricing.
• Prepare Purchase Order forms for signing and approval.
• Coordinate with Accounting for purchases and rentals.
• Coordinate with Engineering to pull materials from warehouse.
• Monitor delivery schedules.
• Maintain inventory reports and supplier contacts.
• Utilize QuickBooks for POs and transactions.
