Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to coordinate material planning, forecasting inputs, and supplier collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Metro Manila.

The role shapes material streams from suppliers through to production, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal inventory levels. You will analyze demand trends, generate and monitor purchase orders, and liaise with internal teams to resolve procurement issues.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintains in a regular basis the material scheduling to suppliers.
• Analyze trend requirements and published forecasting to drive planning actions.
• Handle correspondence concerning over- shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices and report such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems. Develop and maintains in a regular basis the material scheduling to suppliers.
• Analyze trend requirements and published forecasting to drive planning actions; Generate purchase orders through analysis and interpretation of materials requirements Plan (MRP).
• Follow supplier performance and take appropriate action regarding past due orders.
• Follow shipping process to ensure that materials will be available as needed.
• Keep strong relationship with both internal and external partners.
• Monitor inventory levels against defined target and freight expenses against defined targets.
