Qualifications

• Develop and maintains material scheduling to suppliers.
• Analyze trend requirements and published forecasting to drive planning actions.
• Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices.
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems; develop and maintain material scheduling.
• Generate purchase orders through analysis and interpretation of materials requirements plan (MRP).
• Monitor supplier performance and take action regarding past due orders.
• Follow shipping process to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Monitor inventory levels against defined targets and freight expenses against defined targets.
