Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop maintenance schedules for sorting machines, analyze performance data, and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime.

You will ensure safety compliance, coordinate with production, monitor spare parts, and perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and software systems. This role requires 5+ years PLC experience and an associate degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with PLC systems in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in PLC languages: Ladder Logic, FBD, ST.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for sorting machines.
• Analyze machine performance data to identify areas for improvement and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions.
• Oversee withdrawal of tools and spare parts and ensure availability of parts, tools, and resources.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of sorting machines; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance; prepare reports on downtime and corrective actions.
• Analyze maintenance processes and suggest improvements to enhance machine reliability and performance.
