Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking an experienced Inventory and Finance Controller to oversee inventory planning, budgeting, and financial oversight for operations. The role involves managing capitalized and non-moving inventories, executing asset verification, and coordinating NFA approvals while ensuring timely PR/PO processing and service entries.

The candidate will monitor CAPEX and OPEX, consolidate annual budgets, and drive digitization of inventory tracking and budgeting.

Qualifications

• BE/B.tech or equivalent degree.
• 8+ years of experience in inventory management, budgeting, and financial oversight.
• Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, or related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory planning aligned with overhaul requirements and procurement budgets.
• Monitor regular consumption and ensure stock availability for operations.
• Manage capitalized inventory including high-value items for major breakdowns.
• Identify obsolete items and plan removal with O&M for resource optimization.
• Verify and implement financial asset controls for accuracy and accountability.
• Prepare NFA approvals at department level to streamline processes.
• Coordinate with departments to gather data and support finance approvals per checklist.
• Prepare Service Entry Sheets to record services accurately.
• Monitor non-moving inventory and quarterly provisions; transfer items between plants.
• Track vital item availability weekly to ensure rapid response during breakdowns.
• Oversee PR/PO processes, ensuring timely conversion and delivery.
• Plan procurement of indigenous spares with relevant departments.
• Update inventory levels and request consumption details to raise POs.
• Screen PR items and maintain compliance with procurement policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to consolidate budgetary inputs for the year.
• Monitor and report CAPEX/OPEX for projects and ensure CER compliance.
• Upload Capex expenditure reports and secure CEO approvals when needed.
• Ensure safety, IMS, AWMS, DISHA, CHETNA compliance within the department.
• Participate in audits and safety meetings to promote a culture of safety.
• Drive digitization and automation of inventory tracking and budget reporting processes.
