Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in vendor management and procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Understand Techno-Commercial strategy and implement group-wide or BU-specific initiatives.
• Review approved PRs and gather missing information for correctness and completeness.
• Identify procurement type and methods (normal vs. emergency PR, stock status, rate contracts, delivery timelines).
• Participate in bidding processes, vendor selection, and evaluation criteria.
• Evaluate technical and commercial bids and negotiate, preparing Notes for Approval (NFA).
• Prepare RFI/RFP documents and organize pre-bid meetings to ensure competitive bidding.
• Prepare contract documents, maintain records, and ensure procurement regulation compliance.
• Upload Business Bill (BBU) in SAP and maintain procurement records for financial management.
• Address queries from vendors and internal stakeholders during delivery expediting.
• Prepare change orders/amendments and facilitate contract closures.
• Manage inbound logistics and contingency plans; coordinate with new vendors for documents for evaluation.
• Populate data to create vendor codes in SAP; update vendor segmentation and performance criteria with Vendor Development Team.
• Assist in data collection/analysis for procurement activities and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Contribute to risk mitigation plans and update category risk registers with data-driven insights.
