Job summary

Mary Grace Foods, Inc. is seeking a Supply Planner for the Indirect Warehouse to plan, manage, and optimize the supply of indirect materials such as maintenance supplies, parts, and utilities.

You will forecast demand, set reorder points, monitor inventory, and drive cost-saving improvements across procurement and warehouse functions. The role requires 2+ years in supply planning, proficiency with ERP/MRP and Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of supply planning, materials planning, or inventory management experience (indirect/MRO).
• Proficiency in ERP/planning systems, MRP, Excel (pivot tables).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of procurement, warehouse operations, and materials handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
• Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop forecasts of demand for indirect materials based on historical usage and planned projects.
• Establish reorder points, safety stocks, and reorder quantities for indirect items.
• Coordinate with procurement to initiate POs for indirect materials.
• Monitor inventory levels, aging, and perform cycle counts.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure inbound deliveries are processed and stored properly.
• Generate and analyze KPIs (stock turnover, fill rate, inventory days).
• Identify opportunities for cost savings (bulk orders, vendor consolidation).
• Identify risks with supplier reliability and lead time variability, and develop mitigation plans.
