The role reports to the Senior Purchasing Supervisor and focuses on planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement through production, evaluating vendors, and developing cost-effective purchasing models. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience; CPIM/APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred
• 2+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor material movement through the production cycle
• Evaluate vendor reliability and develop solutions in case of material shortages
• Monitor cost and consolidate contracts where required to create cost-effective purchasing models
• Develop new supply sources where required to keep operations stocked and able to generate the desired output
• Actively maintain inventory and collaborate with operations to ensure appropriate stock
