Job summary

Cyberbacker Careers is seeking a Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for the organization in Metro Manila. You will oversee all accounting, regulatory compliance, and payroll processing, while also driving talent acquisition and development within the team.

You will provide financial insights for strategic decisions, supervise close processes, and maintain robust cash flow management with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Degree or coursework in accounting or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and onboarding of tax and AR specialists.
• Create training materials, guides, and FAQs for onboarding.
• Develop team capabilities through weekly 1on1 sessions.
• Identify skill gaps and provide training for technical and leadership skills.
• Promote accountability and high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead reconciliation processes: bank, intercompany, and general ledger accounts.
• Oversee service fee processing and reporting of related transactions.
• Monitor Daily AR Aging Report to track collections and cash flow.
• Ensure accuracy in accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain QBO reports and present financial data to leadership.
• Gather financial data for management meetings to review performance.
• Manage daily cash flow and forecast to optimize working capital.
• Prepare Daily Cash Balance Report and advise transfers/investments as needed.
