Job summary

Viventis Search Asia in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Accountant/Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely close, and maintain strong internal controls.

You will coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting while providing financial insights to the CFO and leading a growing accounting team across AP, AR, GL, payroll, and fixed assets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting/finance team.
• Support the CFO with financial insights for strategic planning and business decisions.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
