Job summary

The Laguna Creamery Inc. is seeking a high-caliber Dairy Finance and Accounting Head to lead finance and accounting, integrating planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost management and compliance across the dairy business in the Philippines.

The role partners with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to drive insights, optimize costs, and safeguard assets while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing, dairy, or FMCG industry is an advantage.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and taxation.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into business insights.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall finance and accounting operations, including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Drive FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term modeling.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide financial insights.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee cost management, including production cost analysis and inventory valuation.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
• Establish and improve accounting policies, systems, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Lead audit activities and coordinate with auditors.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Safeguard assets with financial controls and risk management.
• Collaborate with corporate finance on reporting and budget alignment.
• Lead, develop, and manage the finance and accounting team.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance.
• Support business expansion, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
