Job summary

World Vision in the Philippines is seeking an FEC Officer focused on storytelling that highlights the impact of humanitarian programs. The role requires coordinating with field teams to develop child- and community-centered narratives, videos, and materials that reflect program outcomes and safeguarding standards.

You will lead content creation, ensure alignment with donor communications, and oversee ethical documentation in development and emergency contexts, based in Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Development Studies, or related field.
• 3–5 years of field-based communications experience.
• Experience in emergency response communications is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to remote and emergency-affected areas.
• Strong writing, interviewing, and visual storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in storytelling, photography, videography, editing, and digital content production tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead content strategy and development of child- and community-focused stories, videos, and communications materials reflecting program impact and technical expertise.
• Coordinate with field teams to identify compelling stories, and ensure ethical documentation.
• Activate rapid content gathering and media coordination during disasters or humanitarian emergencies.
• Support donor visibility and partner communications with tailored content packages and field updates.
• Uphold safeguarding and ethical standards in all content creation and dissemination.
