Job summary

World Vision International in Mindanao invites applications for the Field and Emergency Communications Specialist (Mindanao Field Office) based in Davao City. You will gather, develop and deliver evidence-based, child- and community-focused content to reflect results and support ministry, public engagement and fundraising efforts.

The role demands strong analytic, reporting and media engagement skills, experience with NGO humanitarian work, and the ability to travel to World Vision area

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mass Communications/Journalism or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in a similar position or capacity.
• Experience with NGO humanitarian work and disaster response preferred.
• Strong analytic, reporting and presentation skills.
• High media engagement skills and ability to handle pressure.
• Willingness to travel within the country.

Responsibilities

• Gathering field and emergency content to support ministry, public engagement and fundraising.
• Coordinate content delivery using WV platforms and liaise with internal teams.
• Support field and emergency communications Officer and related duties as assigned.
