Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise applications and technology solutions in Manila. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in solution delivery, application development, technical architecture, or related technology roles, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, systems analysis and design, solution delivery lifecycle, and enterprise integration using APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in Java or .NET development, SQL, system integration, infrastructure architecture, and modern enterprise application technologies.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, preferably with experience in financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, integration needs, and enterprise technology standards
• Lead technical delivery activities, including solution design, technical specifications, testing oversight, implementation planning, capacity planning, and production deployment support
• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop scalable, secure, and high-performing application and integration solutions
• Collaborate with vendors, project teams, and stakeholders to evaluate solution options, manage technical risks, and ensure successful project execution
• Provide technical leadership, subject matter expertise, and guidance to development teams while ensuring compliance with architectural, security, and development standards
