Job summary

South Star Drug is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Lead to optimize planning for pharmaceutical and FMCG SKUs. You will drive forecast accuracy and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Inventory to align inputs with business goals.

You will analyze historical data, market trends, and product life cycles to generate weekly and monthly demand plans using ERP tools. Strong communication and leadership across functions are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of demand planning experience in pharma or FMCG.
• Experience managing multi-category portfolios including private label.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/Oracle/NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and continuously improve the demand planning process across multiple categories.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Inventory to collect data and align forecasts with objectives.
• Analyze historical data, trends and lifecycles to create accurate forecasts.
• Generate weekly and monthly demand plans using forecasting tools and ERP systems.
• Lead S&OP monthly meetings with cross-functional teams to review forecast performance.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory levels; suggest adjustments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for timely replenishment and minimize stockouts.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track forecast performance and inventory health.
• Support launches and delistings through data-driven planning and execution.
