Job summary

JORI Logistics in Cebu City is seeking a CPA to support the CFO with accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and preparation of working papers and statements. You will oversee the full accounting cycle for the Philippines entity and collaborate on budgets and forecasts.

You will contribute to improvements in accounting systems and procedures while ensuring tax compliance in Canada and the Philippines. This role offers a direct hire with a focus on accuracy and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related field; CPA preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience post-CPA designation.
• Familiarity with Canadian tax laws and CRA regulations is a great advantage.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely accounting working papers for all group companies.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with the reporting framework.
• Support CARM reporting and reconciliations for government and client requirements.
• Maintain Philippines office books and day-to-day accounting tasks.
