Job summary

Oriental Consultants Philippines, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Certified Public Accountant to lead the accounting function in Manila. The role requires deep knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial forecasting, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

The candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and process improvements, contributing to strategic business decisions and risk management for the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• 7–10 years of experience in the same position.
• Strong knowledge of taxation principles and regulations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Oversees the preparation of Financial Reports, Budgets, and Financial Forecast.
• Strong Leadership, Organizational, and Communication Skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, statements, cash flow statements, and payroll checks.
• Ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
• Manages budgets, prepares financial forecasts, and conducts business modeling and risk assessments.
• Identifies areas for improvement in accounting processes and implements solutions.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinates annual audits of the department
• Perform any other mandated accounting functions, and or any other duties that may be assigned.
